Vladimir Oblast is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). Its administrative center is the city of Vladimir, which is located 190 kilometers (120 mi) east of Moscow. Vladimir Oblast borders Moscow, Yaroslavl, Ivanovo, Ryazan, and Nizhny Novgorod Oblasts. The oblast is situated in the center of the East European Plain. The Klyazma and the Oka are the most important rivers. There are approximately three hundred lakes. The oblast is situated in a zone of mixed forests.
My 12th cover into the 'Regions of Russia' collection came from Vladimir Oblast. Thank You very much Dmitry Rabtsun for the big help. He is very interested in my way of collection and helping me a lot from different regions.You can in the middle a stamp written as 'Vladimir Oblast' . I wish to collect all the regions from Russia in the similar ways.
